Lufthansa: Malta to Europe sale, plus discount code reminder
Lufthansa has just launched a “Plan Early and Save” promotion on winter flights from Malta to Europe.
While the discounts are not spectacular, there are some good starting prices and (at the time of writing) reasonable availability.
Starting prices for returns, including all taxes and fees, are:
- Oslo – €189
- Frankfurt – €209
- Brussels – €209
- Munich – €229
- Stockholm – €229
- Moscow – €259
- St Petersburg – €299
(However, you can still use Lufthansa’s “€20 off any flight departing from Malta” code, so effectively knock €20 off the above starting prices)
Key conditions for the winter promotion are as follows:
- Purchase by: 30.03.2014
- Departure period: 06.11.2013 – 30.03.2014
- Return period: 10.11.2013 – 30.04.2014
While the above prices may not necessarily match the headline rates of the budget carriers on similar length routes, they are inclusive of all costs and include 1 bag up to 23kg (2 bags if you have Miles&More status), plus the greater pleasure of flying with a premium airline (more legroom, in flight food, treating you like a human being etc). Don’t forget to earn Miles&More points on Lufthansa flights, too.
