Discounted dining options at the Hilton and Westin

A couple of solid Malta higher-end dining deals for you:

The Hilton Malta’s  Bottega Del Vino restaurant is currently offering three course meals for €30 a head, rather than €43. To benefit, you need to sign up for the Facebook offer on the Hilton Malta Facebook page here (you’ll need to scroll down to find it, but it’s there I assure you). You will then be sent an email which you print and present for the discount. I have never actually dined at Bottega Del Vino, but it gets pretty good reviews.

Note that unless you are staying at the Hilton, you will not earn HHonors points on this spend.

Meanwhile the excellent Quadro restaurant at the Westin Dragonara is offering its standard 10% off to SPG members (remember SPG is free to join, and membership is instant) with an added bonus that if you dine there today or in December, you will receive a voucher for an additional 15% off – on top of the regular discount of 10% – to redeem when you dine in January.

Unlike Bottega Del Vino, I have dined at Quadro and it is excellent: great food, service and views. The set menu (“Table D’Hote”: available here) is also exceptional value, and can be combined with the discounts above. You also earn SPG points on your spend, even if not a guest at the hotel.

Amongst many other things, you can redeem SPG points for Avios, to get free BA flights – so well worth signing up for.
