Club Carlson points – 2,000 to 10,000 free: check your email
Club Carlson, the loyalty programme of the Radisson, Park Plaza etc sent out a major mailshoot to members yesterday, wishing all a festive season and inviting them to click on a link for a “special gift”.
Given how long it took me to get the link to work, it seems quite a few others were clicking on it yesterday too.
If I’m honest, I was expecting this “gift” to be some sort of bonus based on a conditional spend: “stay 10 nights in 2015, get 500 free points!” or similar. The fact that it was a totally unconditional 2,000 free Club Carlson points came as a big and welcome surprise. So credit to Club Carlson for this particular dose of Christmas cheer. Indeed, if all my relatives gave me 2,000 hotel points, I’d spend Christmas Day grinning like a Cheshire Cat.

But perhaps I was short-changed. Others have reported receiving 10,000 points.
