Huge Germanwings sale – Europe to Germany from €26.99
German budget carrier Germanwings, a Lufthansa company, has launched a Europe-wide promotional offer. Flights from all over Europe to Germany start at €26.99.
This is such an expansive sale, it’s difficult to know where to begin with example value fares. The stand-out price from the UK is probably Manchester to Cologne-Bonn at €29 each way. However, other good value flights include:
- Stansted to Cologne-Bonn at €26.99
- Birmingham to Hamburg at €29.99
- Zagreb to Berlin at €33
- Paris (CDG) to Dusseldorf at €33
- Dublin to Cologne at €33
Crucially, you will often find the return leg even cheaper. Taking the cheapest option above, for example, tickets from Cologne-Bonn to Stansted are available for as low as €16.99.
Given that it is a low cost carrier, there’s much to be said for comparing comparable prices on easyJet, Ryanair, Wizz Air etc. However there is some value to be had here with Germanwings, and don’t forget that you’ll also earn Lufthansa Miles and More miles on flights.
