30% off rooms, 50% off upgrades with Shangri-La hotels

Until 30 April 2015, Shangri-La Hotels are offering their Golden Circle loyalty scheme members nights in their Club Rooms with 30% fewer points, and Club Room upgrades at 50% fewer points.

If you have a haul of Shangri-La Golden Circle points, this is a potentially excellent use of them.

Notably, the room redemption or upgrade can be made through Golden Circle Member Services, or at the hotel upon check-in. Additionally, the room redemption can be made online. 

The offer is valid at any Shangri-La hotel, Kerry hotel, Traders hotel and Hotel Jen with Club rooms, excluding Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo and Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore.

What is the reduced points cost?

It depends entirely on the hotel. Pre-discount, room redemptions range from 2,000-14,000 points, while Club Room upgrades range from 800-2,000 points.
