BA’s “luxury seat sale” – some good value long haul options

BA has just launched its “luxury seat sale”, a link to which is here.

Even with the substantial discounts on offer, it’s not one for the budget traveller, plus you will of course have to travel through a hub (most likely in the UK).

However, if you like to splurge occasionally, BA are offering discounts of up to 40% in First and Club World as well as discounts on a wide range of holidays using premium travel.

Although not much use if you’re Malta-based, Club Europe flights from London to European destinations start from £199 return including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bordeaux, Hamburg, and Genoa. Southern Europe flights include Alicante, Malaga and Nice all from £299 (saving up to 40%).

Better value for the Malta-based flyer is obviously in the long haul options, and the USA and Caribbean offers some particularly good value here, including:

–      three nights at the 4* Doubletree by Hilton New York from £1,699 pp (saving up to 40%) including return Club World flights from Heathrow

–      seven nights at the 4* Radisson Resort, Orlando from £1,679pp (saving up to 32%) including return Club World flights from Gatwick.

–      flights in Club World from £999 to Kingston, Jamaica, while Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, Punta Cana, Tobago and St Lucia are all from £1,599  (saving up to 30%).

Offers are based on selected travel from May 29, 2013 through to April 30, 2014.

Do not forget to collect Avios on any flights, particularly now 20,000 Avios gets you a return to the UK with Air Malta!
