Global business lounge access – 15 free passes (+ 2 guest passes) for all, unlimited for some
Regus now has an expanded network of business lounges globally, including lounges at Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Via Finnair Plus (free to join, here), you can currently get 15 free visits and 2 guest passes to any Regus Business Lounge globally, plus one free day office voucher, redeemable at any Regus centre globally.
Air France/KLM’s Flying Blue (free to join, here) offers the same, but with no day office voucher. You need to use activation code AFKLM. Likewise Aegean’s Miles&Bonus also offers this (join here), via this link.
Meanwhile Virgin Flying Club Gold and Silver members (and Virgin Atlantic Black credit card holders) will receive complimentary Regus Businessworld Gold membership (offering unlimited free business lounge access for a year), and 2 free day office uses.
You need to manage your expectations here – while these business lounges are a useful working space, with free wifi and basic refreshments, they’re not up to the standards of your typical airline lounge. In addition, the Heathrow and Gatwick lounges are landside in arrivals, so you will have to factor that into your timing. They are, however, free!
If you’re looking for access to a more “full service” lounge, it’s worth looking at the current offer on the Priority Pass we flagged recently.
Facilities (as described by Regus) are:
- Comfortable, well-equipped workspaces in worldwide locations
- Dedicated support teams offering administrative assistance
- Networking opportunities with like-minded professionals or extra privacy in a Regus Thinkpod
- FREE secure WiFi
- FREE refreshments
- Print / scan / photocopy facilities available [but at a cost]
You will also earn airline points on any spending at the business lounges, depending on the particular scheme you have signed up through.
Interesting – I couldn’t seem to find any airport locations in the US, though I checked some major cities.
