50% off global reward flights with Emirates – for one week only
For the next week (i.e. until 17 February 2015), Emirates is offering 50% off the number of miles required for almost all return redemption flights in Saver Economy Class. Subjection to certain exclusions, this is regardless of your starting point or destination.
While you need to book by 17 February, the travel window is between 13 April and 23 June 2015.
The points required for the flight are obviously halved, but taxes and fuel surcharges must be paid in full. It is generally these additional fees that make Business Class reward flights much better value than Economy Class redemptions. However, with 50% off the miles required, this sale is certainly worth looking at.
The offer applies to flights to/from a large number of Emirates destinations (including the US), although the exclusion list does include London Heathrow. It is set out in full below.
The discounted points rate takes the miles cost of flights to/from major Emirate hubs to the following:
