Air France KLM is currently running a Business Class sale from the UK until 20 May, for travel between 1 July and 31 August 2015. Long haul prices start at £951 all-in return (Cairo), with North America from £1899 return.
The prices are very reasonable for Business Class, if not spectacular. They are perhaps not helped by the fantastic Qatar Airways Business Class and Finnair Business Class fares that we have flagged of late, although bear in mind in all cases you are starting from the UK.
Headline prices currently available are as follows (Business Class, all-in return): (more…)
There’s some great value fares, with Economy Class returns to the Far East from £399, and Premium Economy Class returns to the Far East, South Africa and Cuba from £699. Crucially, there’s also currently wide availability at the headline sale prices.
So what’s available? (more…)
KLM has just launched a “Super Special Sale” on Economy Class flights from the UK (London Heathrow). You need to book by 25 March 2015 to benefit from the sale rates.
The stand-out value in this “Super Special Sale” is Kuala Lumpur at £399, and Havana and Rio De Janeiro both at £449.
This sale may be limited, but it is worth a post as it joins some very competitive Economy Class sale fares to Asia and the Middle East, which are bookable until 9 April 2015. Long haul flights here start at just £332 all-in return, and highlights include: (more…)
It seems to be Business Class Sale season at the moment. Following Etihad and then BA’s lead, KLM continue to offer a number of potentially very good value sale fares, on global Business Class routes.
With Business Class return fares from London to the Far East starting at just £1099 all-in, this is a chance to get some great value travel booked.
Save for a few exceptions, the Business Class sale fares are general bookable until 10 March 2015.
Some standout fares we noted are as follows: (more…)
Air France is currently running a promo on flights between London and Paris, with returns available at an impressive £78 all-in.
You need to book before 1 March 2015 to benefit from the £78 special fare. The £78 fare is currently widely available. By way of example:
We’ve featured quite a few great value Business Class fares in the last few months, but the KLM sub-€1000 return long haul Business class fares are almost impossible to beat. They great news is they have returned. You can currently book Business Class returns from Germany to China for a quite staggering €997.
The flights are to three Chinese destinations: Chengdu, Hangzhou and Xiamen. Depending on your destination, you can fly from various German cities including Hamburg, Berlin and Dusseldorf. Hamburg seems to be the cheapest, with the €997 fare, but the other departure cities are still offering fares around the €1k mark, so have a look at what is most convenient for you.
Subject to availability, you have until 31 March 2015 to book, with travel permitted from 15 February 2015. To benefit from the €997 fare, you will need to book at least 30 days before the flight departs. (more…)
KLM has launched another “Pack&GO” sale, with discounts on Economy Class flights booked from London Heathrow to various worldwide locations.
You need to book on or before 27 January 2015, while travel dates vary depending on the route booked (although this KLM sale generally extends to much of 2015, including the summer).
With (among many others) returns to Dubai available at £335, New York £392, Beijing £454, Singapore £468 and Bangkok at £474, there is some solid – if not exactly spectacular – value to be had in this sale for the budget-conscious traveller.
A full list of destinations and starting prices is available here. We tested a number of routes, and availability is currently excellent. Note that the headline “starting” prices on this page are generally more than the lowest price available (no, we don’t understand that either).
‘Tis the season of goodwill etc. Fortunately for the value traveller, the major airline alliances are taking this quite seriously, and are currently offering incredibly good value fares from Europe to the USA.
The fares apply to a variety of US destinations, and you need to depart from Copenhagen, Denmark. We found all-in return flights to New York JFK at €1000 with British Airways, €919 with Brussels Airlines and a fairly staggering €885 with Delta Airlines.
This offer is in addition to the recent Business Class sale we flagged from Dublin to the USA. The key catch here of course is that you need to fly out from Copenhagen. Not convenient for many, of course, but a cheap and easy relocation flight there is likely to save you a small fortune on trips from Europe to the USA.
Crucially, the discounted fares are currently available for much of 2015.
One of the stand-out offers of 2014 so far has been the KLM £999 Business Class return sale back in August. The good news is, it’s back. £999 Business Class return flights (and in fact we found them as low as £995) are currently available from London Heathrow to a wide-range of long-haul destinations, including Dubai, Cape Town, Rio, Shanghai and Tokyo.
The new KLM Business Class is great. £999 for a return flight to all of the available destinations is seriously good value, and to some of the further flung destinations it’s little short of outstanding.
The key issue with this sale, however, is that while the headline prices are fantastic, the travel window is almost comically tight. You need to book before 8 December 2014, which is fair enough. However, you need to travel from 21 December 2014 until 3 January 2014. Yes, that’s right, you have a two week travel window, starting later this month.
However, if you are still holding out for a last-minute Christmas/New Year bargain, then you could do a lot worse than this sale. The full list of destinations is as follows: (more…)
Following on from the promotion in August, KLM has launched another “WOW” sale. The sale is open until the end of 24 November 2014 and applies to flights from London Heathrow.
Standout offers, all with wide availability, include:
- Muscat return at £349
- Doha return at £369
- Bangkok return at £459
Unfortunately, unlike the last WOW sale, the discounts apply only in Economy and not Business Class. However, if you’re after some solid value in an Economy return flight, it’s worth a look.
