40% off at Hilton hotels – “public sector” workers
Hilton hotels are currently offering up to a massive 40% off if you use a code for “government or public sector” workers.
I am generally sceptical of “up to X% off” offers, but it seems from some test bookings that a number of Hilton properties are consistently offering close to the 40% discount mark.
Taking the Hilton Malta as an example: prices vary month to month, but this offer guarantees up to 40% off whenever you book. By way of example, this brings a weekend stay in April down from €200 per night Bed & Breakfast to €120 per night. A week in July goes from €230 per night B&B to €150.
To book this offer, you need to go to the Hilton website and enter the code PR11PN in the “have a special code?” box on the left hand side – this will then bring up all the reduced prices.
Given that a “public sector” worker is not defined by Hilton, and ID is not asked for, it appears that this can be quite loosely interpreted.
I should add that this offer can be used at a variety of other Hilton properties in the UK and Europe (although the discount may be limited to Fri/Sat/Sun nights only): click here for details.
Do not forget to earn Hhonors points on any stays!
