A date for your diary – Avios redemption sale
This is an early warning that the “Avios Unmissable Sale” begins on 6 January 2014, ending on 20 January 2014.
What an Avios “sale” means, of course, is that you’ll be able to use your Avios to book BA (and its partners’) Avios reward flights at a reduced rate (i.e. it should not be confused with BA’s current sale on cash flights).
Obviously we will have to wait and see which redemption routes are discounted and by how much. However, Avios are promising “six really big unmissable offers”, and “unmissable deals”, so clearly there is a focus on unmissability…
From a Malta perspective, fingers crossed there will be discounts on the standard 10,000 (20,000 business class) each-way Avios redemptions for BA flights between the UK and Malta, from March.
