Double Avios on select flights from London City Airport
British Airways is currently running a double Avios offer on its routes from London City Airport to Edinburgh, Isle of Man and Dublin.
To benefit, you first need to register here and then book a flight by 27 April 2015, for travel before 31 May 2015.
The double Avios promotion applies to the following cabins and classes:
- Club Europe (Business Class) – J, C, D R & I booking classes
- Euro Traveller (Economy) – Y & B booking classes
- UK Domestic – J, C, D, R, I, B & Y booking classes
The extra Avios apply to an unlimited number of flights during the promotional period, so while this may be a fairly low-key offer, if you’re a regular on any of the routes it has the potential to be quite an impressive bonus haul.

Tom, how useful will the new Finnair flights be for OneWorld people?
Given their long-haul prices, Finnair is an excellent oneworld option in my book. A great way, for example, to load up on BA tier points (and Avios). Similarly a way to get oneworld long-haul without having to go via London (and paying the price).
I’ll keep an eye out for options…
