Swiss Airlines are currently offering Business Class returns from London to Geneva at Economy Class prices. That puts flights from Heathrow at £123 return, and London City from £131 return in Business Class.
You need to book by 12 June, and travel by 30 September 2015. The booking needs to be made as a Business Class booking, rather than Economy Class, and the discount will be applied automatically – there is no need for a discount code or similar.
As well as lounge access, on-board champagne and more space, you will also be permitted two pieces of checked baggage (2 x 32kg) and two pieces of carry-on baggage. (more…)
PartnerPlusBenefit is a Lufthansa-driven travel incentive programme for businesses that purchase airline tickets in the UK or Ireland.
In short, it’s a way for businesses to earn reward points when their employees travel with 10 different airlines (see below), in addition to the standard frequent flyer miles the individual employee earns anyway. The business can then redeem these points for various benefits, including upgrades, Heathrow Express tickets and even cash.
Swiss airlines has just announced a special offer on Business Class fares, with a stand-out offer of London Gatwick to Geneva at £217 in Business Class.
We have checked, and there is availability through until the end of March 2015. However, you need to book by 10 February at the very latest. Alternative options are from Heathrow or London City, with Business Class returns available at £234 and £241 respectively. (more…)
Swiss has joined the Cyber Monday party with return flights from London (Gatwick) to Geneva at an impressive £57.74 all-in return. Zurich flights from Zurich are also discounted.
Or, to quote Swiss’s slightly Germanic wording “Today, Cyber Monday, our flight steerers feel very generous and opened up all flights for departures from the UK to Geneva and Zurich“.
This is a one-day only sale, so you need to book by midnight today (Central European Time). Discounted tickets are valid for departure 1 January – 31 March 2015, and availability is currently very good.
Andreas Caminada, holder of 19 Gault Millau points and 3 Michelin stars, is setting up a “pop-up restaurant” on Swiss flight LX16 from Zurich to New York JFK on 21 November 2014.
Notably, his food will be served to all passengers, whether in First, Business or Economy. The best way to experience this would, of course, be to get a free flight, and you can enter a competition to do so here.
Failing that, you can still book tickets on the flight at reasonable prices. For example, a return in Economy, coming back on Tuesday 25 November, is CHF 834 (€685). (more…)
Swiss has just launched some “worldwide special offers”.
The return flights to Dubai come in at a very competitive £358 all-in return in economy in September, October, November and December.
Bear in mind that returns to Dubai on the same route are £360 in the current British Airways sale, so while Swiss have cunningly undercut this, it’s not by much.

Swiss airlines has just announced a special offer on “new business class fares”. The results are pretty good, and the discounted fares extend to economy class too.
While the special offer talks about business class fares starting at £149, we found them as low as £136.
Example of currently available fares (we have checked) in September 2014 include: (more…)
