Swiss Airlines are currently offering Business Class returns from London to Geneva at Economy Class prices. That puts flights from Heathrow at £123 return, and London City from £131 return in Business Class.
You need to book by 12 June, and travel by 30 September 2015. The booking needs to be made as a Business Class booking, rather than Economy Class, and the discount will be applied automatically – there is no need for a discount code or similar.
As well as lounge access, on-board champagne and more space, you will also be permitted two pieces of checked baggage (2 x 32kg) and two pieces of carry-on baggage. (more…)
I have no idea how long this fare will last, but Ryanair is currently offering return flights in April and May 2015 from London (Luton) to Copenhagen for a remarkable £1.98 all-in return (i.e. including taxes).
If this is of any use to you, be quick. It will not last long.
Here is an example booking we made just now: (more…)
The improving budget airline Ryanair is currently offering crazy prices on return flights from London Luton to Copenhagen in April 2015, at just £9.89 all-in. Similarly, Cologne is available at £8.65 all-in return from London Stansted.
It’s not quite the USA for a tenner, but Copenhagen and Cologne, both fantastic cities, are a pretty good start. At these prices, even the most hardened Ryanair-hater would be forced to think twice. (more…)
As part of its extended 30 year anniversary celebrations, Ryanair is taking a break from its plans for world domination and running another short haul sale.
If you book before midnight GMT on 23 March 2015, for travel between 14 April and 28 May 2015, you will get an additional 20% off any flight on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
The offer applies to the entire Ryanair network, so regardless of where you’re based, if you can make a Ryanair midweek flight work for you, then you should take a look. (more…)
It’s the news that many have hoped for (and probably equal numbers have feared): the Board of Ryanair has finally approved the establishment of a new transatlantic airline.
The British press have feverishly reported this as the beginning of the “£10 fare to the US”, and there is some truth in this. Ryanair officially confirmed that there will be promotional fares of £10 available, but standard fares are likely to start at £99. (more…)
Ryanair is currently running another deal on Scandinavia, this time offering flights from London Stansted to Norway (Oslo Rygge, Oslo Torp and Haugesund) for just £12.24 all-in return.
At the time of writing, there is wide availability of the offer fare in March.
We may not be Ryanair’s biggest fan, but at these prices even its most ardent critic would be hard-pressed to find fault – just be sure to check-in online and ignore them when they try and sell you a scratchcard.
And yes, you can make a weekend of it: (more…)
Ryanair have reduced their flights to Dusseldorf (Weeze) even more dramatically: they’re now available in March 2015 for a remarkable £12.14 all-in return, with (currently) good availability. Departures are from Stansted.
Aside from the fact you’re flying with Ryanair, the key catch with this flight is that “Dusseldorf” Weeze airport is a fair old distance from Dusseldorf. In fact it’s nearer Eindhoven, in central Holland. However, Weeze does appear to be quite well connected to Dusseldorf (and elsewhere) by train, and if you’re looking to travel to somewhere in Western Germany or East/Central Holland, then, combined with a hire car or clever use of trains, it could work very well.
Here’s an example option at £12.14: (more…)
Ryanair have reduced their flights to Dusseldorf (Weeze) even more dramatically: they’re now available in January 2015 for a remarkable £17.82 all-in return, with wide availability. Departures are from Stansted.
Flights in February 2015 are at £26.75 all-in return. In addition, flights to Shannon (Ireland) are also currently priced at £17.82 all-in return in January and February 2015.
The key catch with the German flight is that “Dusseldorf” Weeze airport is a fair old distance from Dusseldorf. In fact it’s nearer Eindhoven, in central Holland. You can currently get a return flight from London Stansted to Dortmund for as little as £27 all-in return in November and December 2014, with Ryanair.
There are plenty of things to do in Dortmund, and we’re entering Christmas market season.
However, there’s one global passion that Dortmund does better than almost anyone else: with a dedication, intensity and spirit found in few other places, and at rock bottom prices too. So what is it? (more…)
Another great Ryanair fare for you, this time £17.91 returns to Cologne. Flights leave daily from Stansted to Cologne (Bonn, the main airport), so you can easily make a weekend, or long weekend, of it
There’s currently plenty of availability in November. As an example: (more…)
