Air Malta – 20% off all flights to Germany and Russia

While not quite as generous or far-reaching as the recent 25% off all flight offers, Air Malta has nevertheless announced an offer on travel to Germany and Russia.

Book before midnight on 2 November 2013, and travel between 11 November 2013 and 30 June 2013, and you’ll get 20% off all flights.

Key terms are as follows:

  • Book before midnight on 2 November 2013
  • Travel from 11 November 2013 to 30 June 2014
  • Blackout period 26 December 2013 to 5 January 2014

Full terms and conditions are available here.

Standard disclaimer applies: Maltapoints has no official role in this offer, we are simply alerting you to it. Also, don’t forget to earn KMiles (and, if you’re going to Russia in winter, be sure to pack a coat…)

  1. Hi. Thanks for this (and the rest of the website).

Have you found that it works on any flights? As I have been looking for flights Hamburg-Malta-Hamburg in April next year, but cannot find any discount.

    Thanks!

The first thing to say is that the discount applies to Air Malta flights only, so if you’re trying to book a codeshare flight (with Lufthansa – the giveaway of course is the “LH” flight code on one or more of the legs) then it will not apply.

However, like you I tried some test bookings for Hamburg in April 2014 but, despite it falling within the promotional period, the discount fares do not appear to have been added. This is odd, because when I tried it in November and December 2013, for example, the discounted fares (“Air Malta Campaign”) were showing.

I also had a look in January (outside blackout period) and February 2014 and couldn’t see the discounted fares in these months either, so it does appear that Air Malta has not added them for 2014 yet, which is poor.

I would give them a call on 00 356 2166 2211 and tell them what the position is – they should then rectify it.

  3. Good stuff Ann. I have generally found Air Malta customer services to be excellent, and I’m pleased they sorted this for you.
