20% off Flybe flights (+ earn Avios), 20% off Wizz Air flights

A couple of very solid 20% off flight deals for you today. The Flybe discount requires a specific Flybe discount code, while the Wizz Air flight applies to flights booked today (26 November) only (for flying any time).

Importantly, the discounts apply not only to the flight charge, but also to the taxes and fees, making them both real crackers (not Christmas crackers though. Too early.)

Flybe 20% off

Starting from today (26 November) until 11.59pm (UK time) on Tuesday 2 December, use code MSE20 on flybe.com to get 20% off almost all Flybe flights when you travel from 7 January to 28 March 2015.

As noted above, this is a particularly generous promo code. It applies to Flybe’s ‘Just Fly’ and ‘Get More’ price options, and the discount applies to all taxes and charges for the flights (although not optional extras such as checked luggage and credit card fees).

Don’t forget that you can now earn Avios on Flybe flights – the ‘Just Fly and ‘Get More’ ticket brackets earn 2 Avios per £1/€1 spend on the flight ticket (quadrupled until 31 December 2014 if you fly from London City).

Wizz Air 20% off

Wizz Air is a budget airline, and be under no illusions about the extent to which it operates on a “no-frills” basis (“makes Ryanair look like Singapore First” was a colleague’s recent assessment). However, it has an extensive route network, and can offer some great prices, too. In particular, it has regular “flash” discount sales, with the latest being the 20% off it’s offering today.

The terms are simple. Book here today, and the discount applies to any flight. The discount is on the flight, taxes/fees, and your first piece of checked-in luggage.

For anyone making a group booking, or likely to use Wizz Air more than a couple of times, we strongly recommend joining the Wizz Discount Club. You save €10 per flight leg, per person, and so you’re likely to get your joining fee back in savings almost immediately.
