Double or triple miles, plus 25% off reward flights – with Etihad
Etihad is currently offering double Etihad Guest miles/tier points in Economy Class, and triple miles/tier points in Business and First Class, on flights booked by 22 March 2015.
In case you’re unsure, Etihad Guest miles are what you use to redeem for reward flights, while tier points count towards your elite status with the airline (as with BA).
To participate in this promotion, you need to first register here and then book your flight on or before 31 May 2015. If you do not register before you book, you will not earn the extra miles/tier points.
There’s also another interesting Etihad offer currently available on reward flights (i.e. flights booked using Etihad Guest miles). Book before 20 March 2015, and you will receive 25% off Etihad Guest redemptions flights on selected routes to and from its hub in Abu Dhabi, for travel up to 31 December 2015.
You can take advantage of this offer by booking your redemption flight here and using the Etihad promotion code REDM25.
As a final point, it is worth reminding you that you can also get 10% off all Etihad flights until 30 April 2015 if you pay for them with an Amex card.
We like Etihad – read our review of its Business Class here.
thanks for sharing. are there good pt transfer or partner redemptions out of etihad?
Not really. The “flexibility” of the Etihad Guest mile is fairly limited (although you can cash out with PointsPay, which gets you 0.41p a mile). For me, the massive plus of Etihad Guest is the redemption flights with Etihad – as little as 55,000 miles plus change for a one way in First Class between London and Abu Dhabi.
After watching the new Nicole Kidman commercial I’d love to fly Etihad, just a shame they don’t fly to Sweden.
