Le Club Accorhotels huge global sale – 20% to 50% off worldwide

Le Club, the loyalty programme of Accorhotels, has just launched a huge “private sale”, which applies to various regions worldwide (see breakdown below), offering discounts of up to 50% at Accor Hotels (Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis etc).

To benefit from the sale, you need to be a Le Club member (join for free here) and book by 30 April 2015.

The list of hotels included in the sale, the dates you need to stay and the applicable discount is enormously varied. However, a digestible summary (with links and highlights) is as follows:

Europe

UK and Ireland: up to 25% off, plus £5 breakfast. Stay from 8 May to 31 August 2015.

France: up to 40% off. Stay from 24 April to 25 May 2015.

Eastern Europe, Baltics & Sweden: up to 40% off. Stay from 19 June to 6 September 2015.

Germany and in Austria: 2 nights for the price of 1 on weekend days. Stay from 30 April to 31 December 2015 (for Vienna from 18 June to 31 December 2015).

Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands: up to 40% off. Stay from 11 May to 6 September 2015.

Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Israel: up to 40% off. Stay from 1 May to 15 September 2015.

Switzerland: 2 nights for the price of 1 in Switzerland. Stay from April 30 to December 31 2015.

Americas and the Caribbean

USA, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic: up to 40% off. Stay from 22 May to 7 September 2015.

South America: up to 50% off 2 night stays. Stay from 1 May to 31 July 2015.

Asia Pacific

Australia: 30% off when you book 2 nights or more. Stay from 1 June to 31 August 2015.

Asia: 40% off. Stay from 18 May to 31 October 2015.

New Zealand & Fiji: 40% off. Stay from 1 June to 30 September 2015 (Accor Advantage Plus members enjoy an additional 10% discount).

Africa

Morocco: up to 40% off. Stay from 1 May to 15 September 2015.

Note that in all cases, the offer is subject to availability. While availability currently seems good, that may of course change.

Given the enormous range of hotels available, this is a sale well worth browsing if you have a potential stay coming up. Clearly the discounts range depending on the hotel, and I am always a touch sceptical of “up to” discounts, but there are undoubtedly some bargains to be had here. 

Taking a low budget example in the UK, the Ibis Gatwick Airport is available in the sale at just €55, while at the higher end, the Sofitel St James is available at a very competitive €375.
